crimefestWrite a Review of a Dagger Shortlisted Title and Win a Weekend Pass to CrimeFest

8th November 2017

Have you heard about the new competition the CWA has launched? It’s open to everyone, and all you have to do is write a review of any of the titles that contended for the 2017 CWA Daggers and post it on www.daggerreads.co.uk.

The CWA will select what they consider to be the best review as the winner.

You can write as many reviews as you like, but only one per title will be considered for the competition. There is no entry fee. And there’s plenty of time to enter – all reviews posted by 28 February 2018 will be automatically entered for the competition. (If you want to leave a review without entering, simply write ‘Not for competition’ at the top of your review.)

Links to where the books can be bought appear on the relevant page if you’d like to buy a copy, or otherwise you might like to borrow one from a library and show your support.

The prize is a full weekend pass for CrimeFest 2018 (event only) and a copy of both the new CrimeFest and CWA anthologies; Ten Year Stretch and Mystery Tour respectively and the winner will be informed in March.

It’s a great way of finding some fantastic books and discovering new authors. The CWA Daggers are held every year and reward the very best in crime writing.

CrimeFest, the international crime writing festival, is held in Bristol during May, which by happy coincidence is National Crime Reading Month.

Full details of the competition are on http://daggerreads.co.uk/readers/
