Leigh Russell, Fatal Act

7th December 2013

Not content with just one crime-fighting hero, Leigh Russell writes both the Geraldine Steel and Ian Peterson series of psychological crime novels. Leigh tells me she is fascinated by characters, especially those that kill. While her stories are of police investigations, they also focus on what drives certain people to murder.

Fatal Act

A glamorous young TV soap star dies in a car crash in central London. Returning for her sixth case, Detective Inspector Geraldine Steel is baffled when the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident vanishes. Then, another young actress is murdered and, once again, the killer mysteriously disappears. When a third victim is murdered, Geraldine knows she must act. But tracking down a serial killer who leaves no clues carries risks – some of them deadly.

Release date – 25 December.
