Get Ready for Killer Women
The third Killer Women Festival is on 21 October in Brown’s Courtrooms, Covent Garden, London. Headliners include Mark Billingham, Sophie Hannah, Paula Hawkins, CWA Dagger shortlisted Mick Herron, Luke Jennings, Elly Griffiths and Erin Kelly. Talks from experts on forensic archeology, CSI, psychopaths and geographic profiling. Yrsa Sigurdadottir reveals the secrets behind Iceland’s biggest and strangest true murder case and the brains behind such successful crime dramas as The Line of Duty and Foyle’s War discuss what makes a great crime drama. Crime newbies Rachel Edwards, Alex Reeve, Lynne Truss and CWA Dagger shortlisted CJ Tudor reveal their journeys to publication. And a raft of brilliant panellists will be talking about everything from sex in the #MeToo age to spying in the Internet age.
Exclusive signed copies of our Killer Women anthology, The Body, will be available to buy, including Erin Kelly’s CWA Dagger shortlisted story. (You can find out if Mick, CJ and Erin have won at the CWA Dagger Awards Dinner on 25 October and afterwards on the CWA website.)
