Curtain Call at the Seaview Hotel by Glenda Young
Curtain Call at the Seaview Hotel is the second in the series starring hotel landlady and amateur sleuth Helen Dexter. You can still read it as a stand alone book, however. This cosy crime is set again in Scarborough and stars an acting troupe who arrive to rehearse a play they hope will save a much-loved theatre. However, the leading lady is a diva, the playwright is highly strung and tensions in the troupe are high. Then one of the actors is found dead on the beach.
