L Taylor lives in Bristol with her partner and young son. Born in Worcester, she studied for a degree in Psychology at the University of Northumbria, Newcastle and currently works as a manager for a London university.
She started writing for publication in 2005 and her short stories won a handful of competitions and were published in dozens of literary and women’s magazines. She then went on to write two romantic comedy novels which were published by Orion (as Cally Taylor) in 2009 and 2011 and were translated into 14 lanaguages. Whilst on maternity leave in 2012 the itch to write something darker became too strong to ignore and her first CL Taylor offering – the psychological thriller ‘The Accident’ – was published by Avon HarperCollins in April 2014.
