Crime Writers in Residence
During the Covid-19 crisis authors will not have the usual opportunities to promote their books at public events. Festivals, readings and launches have been cancelled – including all of the events scheduled for the CWA and CRA’s National Crime Reading Month, which normally takes place in May. We, however, would still like to give you an opportunity to meet your favourite authors, virtually.
We have asked our authors to provide a video of themselves at home under lockdown where they talk about how they’re coping during the crisis, what they’re writing, what books they have coming up and which fellow CWA authors books they are reading. For the camera shy authors we have asked them to answer a set of written questions instead. Do check out the videos and interviews over on the Crime Reading Month website. New ones will be added every week until the end of May – and possibly beyond! View the videos here.
