Claire Wilson is a debut crime writer from central Scotland. Her debut novel, Five by Five, will be published by Penguin Michael Joseph in August 2024.  Claire has had many short stories published online and in anthologies, however, it has always been her dream to be a traditionally published novelist.

Five by Five, based on her unique day job in a Scottish prison, won the PMJ Undiscovered Writers prize.  She is represented by David Headley, DHH literary agency.

When not writing, Claire loves to spend time with her son and reading other people’s words.
