Sub-genre: Amateur detective, Cosy, mystery, noir, Procedural, suspense
Anne Penketh is originally from Lancashire but her career as a foreign correspondent took her all over the world before she turned to fiction. After writing a bestselling series of police procedurals for Joffe Books set in Norfolk, where her relatives live, she is now following her heart to Brittany for some amateur sleuthing. The Brittany Murders is the first novel in a cosy crime series set in France. Anne worked in France for many years and divides her time between London and Paris.
