Anita (Neet) was a University Nurse Lecturer with a PhD in Cancer Studies until 2018 when she decided to concentrate on more creative pursuits. Neet has been a big fan of fiction since she was a teen, stealing her father’s Tarzan books and her mother’s Mills and Boon romances. Her love of reading laid the foundation for an interest in writing short stories, poems, songs, screenplays, stage plays and novels. Her background in nursing, lecturing and research has been invaluable when establishing a sound knowledge base for her writing, while her emotions are the driving force behind her work.
As a writer, Neet also enjoys writing with her sister. They teamed together for a crime thriller series and will continue to work together on other writing projects. Neet loves shoemaking, screenwriting and composing songs on her guitar, just don’t ask her to sing!
