Nina Milton gained an MA in creating writing while writing her first books for children; Sweet’n’Sour, (HarperCollins) and Tough Luck, (Thornberry Publishing). Her short stories also appear regularly in British anthologies.
Her crime fiction is published by Midnight Ink (Llewellyn International). In the Moors , is the first Shaman Mystery. The second Shaman Mystery, Unravelling Visions, will be released in the autumn of 2014.
Nina Milton was born, educated and raised her two children in the West Country, but now live in west Wales with her husband James where they keep hens. She is a druid; she uses Shamanic techniques in her life – in fact they changed my life – although, unlike Sabbie Dare, her heroine, she has never set up a therapeutic practice. As well as writing fiction, she teaches creative writing with the Open College of the Arts and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
