Jackie McLean

Jackie is a Glasgow-based writer her debut novel is Toxic. It was inspired by the Bhophal disaster, the world’s biggest industrial accident, where thousands of people were killed in one night. Thirty years on, and justice has still never been served on the company involved. The Bhopal Medical Appeal continues the fight.

She lives with her partner, Allison (without whom she’d never write anything) and their dog Loopy. They recently sold the pet shop that they ran (ask her anything about pets), and Jackie has just embarked on a mathematics PhD.
