Graham Lancaster

Sub-genre:

A career in the global business world – factory management, speech writing, policy advisor/co-ordinator, travel industry, public relations consultancy – provided Graham Lancaster with the roots for thriller writing and self-help books, published and translated internationally. Starting with his first thriller, The Nuclear Letters, which Time Magazine reviewed as ‘credible and unnerving’ and which the Oxford Times said had ‘Ian Fleming-ish exuberance of imagination’. Ian Fleming’s middle name was Lancaster, but sadly Graham says no relation! His guide to self-improvement, The 20% Factor, led to some lively debate in The Times and elsewhere when Graham said that for most of us conforming was a better way to succeed than becoming a corporate maverick. Graham has also had short stories published, a format he especially enjoys. Story telling is something authors love to do, but listening to and observing the rich experiences of others for him is just as important.
