Kate High

After a career as a designer/maker working in precious metals to produce jewellery and silversmithing, Kate High became a full-time writer in her mid-sixties, following the traditional route of finding an agent and a publisher.
Her first book The Cat and The Corpse in The Old Barn, is available in paperback, kindle, audio and in translation in Germany.
The Man Who Vanished and The Dog Who Waited, is Kate’s second book. Now also available in paperback, kindle, audio and in translation in German.
The Missing Wife and The Stone Fen Siamese will be out in hardback, kindle and audio from 3rd June 2022. Out in paperback from 30th March 2023.
The books, set in the Lincolnshire Wolds, centre around Clarice Beech, a contemporary Miss Marple. In her mid-forties, Clarice is a ceramicist. She is both intelligent and inquisitive and cannot resist a mystery, especially one involving a corpse.
Murder and The Moggies of Magpie Row will be available in hardback, kindle and audio from June 2024.
