Patrick Gooch

Patrick Gooch read History of Art, and early on in his career lectured at the Central School of Art and Design in London. However, marketing was his main occupation; and he has worked for a number of German, American and British companies.

Latterly, he joined the family trade development company, working principally with government departments of foreign countries. To relieve the tedium of long-haul flights and staying in impersonal hotels, he turned to writing.

Over time he amassed a number of manuscripts, stored in the`metaphorical bottom drawer`. Eventually, they saw the light of day, and after the usual bout of rejections, eleven of his novels have now been published.
