James Delargy

James was born and raised in Ireland and lived in South Africa, Australia and Scotland before ending up in England. He incorporates this diverse knowledge of towns, landscapes and cultures into his writing. His first novel, 55, was published in 2019 and sold to over twenty territories. It was followed in 2021 by the standalone thriller Vanished which won the Best Foreign Thriller award at the Saint-Maur En Poche festival in 2022. His third book, Into the Flames, set during a major bushfire in NSW will be published in Summer 2024.

James is currently working on novels set in Australia, North Carolina and West Virginia.
