Julie Mae Cohen is the darker side of Julie Cohen, a million-copy bestelling and award-winning author of book club fiction. Julie grew up in Maine, USA and studied English Literature at Brown University, Cambridge University and the University of Reading. Her work has been translated into 17 languages and has been selected for the Richard and Judy and Radio 2 Book Clubs. Julie is a Vice President of the Romantic Novelists’ Association, a winner of their Inclusion Award, and the founder of the Rainbow chapter for LGBTQ+ writers. Julie is a popular teacher and mentor in creative writing. She is Patron of literacy charity ABC To Read and has served as a judge for the Wingate Prize. She lives in Berkshire with her teenager and a terrier of dubious origin.
