Founded in 2001, Casemate is a specialist military history publisher and book distributor with offices in Oxford, UK and Philadelphia, USA. Casemate publishes general and academic military history titles, from memoirs and biographies through to defence studies, espionage, and military science.
In 2020 Casemate launched its fiction list with spy thriller ‘A Question of Time’ by ex Special Forces soldier James Stejskal. Tying in with the publisher’s expertise, the focus of the Casemate fiction list is military and spy fiction, particularly novels written by authors who are veterans of the military or intelligence services.
