D. B. Carew

D.B. (Derrick) Carew was born in Newfoundland and Labrador and has called British Columbia, Canada home since 1993 where he lives with his wife and their two children.

D.B. has a Masters degree in Social Work and has been a social worker at the provincial forensic psychiatric hospital since 1998.

D.B.’s first book, The Killer Trail, was short listed in 2013 for the Crime Writers’ Association Debut Dagger, and was released by NeWest Press on May 15, 2014. D.B.’s follow up novel, The Weight of Blood, is being published on November 1, 2020 by NeWest Press.
