Helen Callaghan
Sub-genre: Amateur detective, Archaeology, mystery, psychological, suspense
My name is Helen Callaghan and I write fiction whenever I’m left unsupervised. I live in Guildford with Hannibal (my abusive feline life partner), a collection of houseplants hanging on by the skin of their teeth, and a constant nervous twitch.
I also keep a blog, available on this site. You can also find me on Facebook and Twitter.
My debut novel, Dear Amy, was published by Michael Joseph in 2016 and Everything Is Lies followed in 2018. My latest thriller, Night Falls, Still Missing, is set on Orkney and is available now. The Drowning Girls, about a young dive instructor who finds a body in a shipwreck in Cornwall, will be available August 17, 2023.
I am represented by Judith Murray at Greene and Heaton Ltd.
