Joly Braime is a writer, editor, illustrator and occasional adventurer. He’s written on everything from Sherlock Holmes, Yorkshire dialect and home-brewing to international hiking trips and bee-related etiquette. He lives in a cottage by the sea with a lurcher and a tortoise.

His Edwardian crime novel, The Tin Face Parade, was shortlisted for the Bridport First Novel Prize in 2018.
