Matthew Booth is the author of the Everett Carr mysteries, a series of Golden Age-style 1930s whodunits, as well as the Alex Priest crime novels, featuring a private eye based in post-WW2 London.  Matthew is also the creator of When Anthony Rathe Investigates, a contemporary take on the classic detective story, which began as a radio series on the Imagination Radio syndicate in America. He is the author of a collection of Sherlock Holmes mysteries called Sherlock Holmes and the Giant’s Hand and he has contributed a number of Sherlock Holmes stories to several anthologies.

He is the current Editor of Red Herrings.
