Cathy Ace writes The Cait Morgan Mysteries (TouchWood Editions) and The WISE Enquiries Agency Mysteries (Severn House Publishers). Born, raised, and educated in Wales, Cathy enjoyed a successful career in marketing and training across Europe for twenty years before migrating to Vancouver, Canada. Her eclectic tastes in art, music, food, and drink have been developed during her decades of extensive travels, which she continues, whenever possible. She won the Bony Blithe Award for Best Canadian Light Mystery in 2015 (for Cait Morgan Mystery No. 4: THE CORPSE WITH THE PLATINUM HAIR) and was shortlisted in the Best Short Story category for an Arthur Ellis Award in 2017 as well as being shortlisted for the Bony Blithe Award in both 2017 and 2018. Now a full-time author, Cathy and her husband are keen gardeners, who enjoy being helped out around their five rural acres by their green-pawed chocolate Labrador. Cathy was Chair of Crime Writers of Canada from 2016-2018.
