I co-write novels with Iain Grant. We write crime and other genres, but we love to insert comedy into all of our work.
We wrote the Sam Applewhite novels because we wanted to emulate some of the outrageous comedy crime capers set in Florida (we set our novels in Skegness). That series starts with Sealfinger, which was shortlisted for the Selfies award in 2022.
We use the pen name Millie Ravensworth for the Cozy Craft series. These are cosy mysteries set in the Suffolk town of Framlingham. The amateur sleuths work in a sewing shop, so they create commissions at the same time as solving mysteries. The first book is The Wonderland Murders, where the characters must make an Alice in Wonderland outfit for a local librarian for World Book Day.
Mille Ravensworth has also written a series in collaboration with Rachel McLean, called the London Cozy Mysteries. These feature a pair of tour guides who take groups around iconic London locations and solve mysteries as they go. The first book is Death at Westminsterhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/Death-Westminster-London-Cozy-Mysteries-ebook/dp/B0CGVJMC8H
