Sue Cook writes long and short stories for the women’s fiction market. Her novellas contain contemporary or historical romance liberally sprinkled with cosy crime, suspense or intrigue. Her short stories can be found in magazines such as My Weekly and The People’s Friend.

She has had five pocket novels published by DC Thomson, two of which were subsequently accepted for Ulverscroft’s Linford Romance imprint for libraries. The first, Tara’s African Adventure, a ‘cosy’ romantic suspense set on safari in Botswana, is now available as an ebook.

Sue lives in the last century, high up in the damp and cold of northern England, with her husband, five ducks and thousands of bees. She finds writing a highly effective antidote to the weather outside and housework inside.
