Richard Foreman of Sharpe Books has recently signed a contract for seven of her crime/thrillers. The first of which, ‘The Nighthawk,’ set in the eastern Pyrenees, is out now in Kindle and paperback. ‘Bloodlines,’ set near Poitiers will be the second in this trilogy, again featuring former Detective Inspector John Lyon from Nottingham CID, realising he’d retired too early. ‘Death Knell,’ set in Norfolk, sees his life changed for ever.
Next to be published in a ‘noir’ crime series set in the flatlands near Le Mans, will be ‘Footfall’ featuring young hotel chambermaid, Delphine Rougier who makes a grim discovery in one of the bathrooms she cleans. This triggers her ambition to become a gendarme. In ‘Fearless,’ her dream becomes grim reality, as in ‘Featherblade’ and ‘Fatal.’
