Colman O Criodain

Colman O Criodain, writing as C.D. Coleman, is Irish by birth but in recent decades has lived in Belgium, Switzerland, France, Kenya and the Netherlands. He works for WWF, where he leads on matters relating to global policies on wildlife, including wildlife trade.
Burned is his first novel. he got the idea while reading Brooke Magnanti’s blog, Belle du Jour, about her life as a high end escort, when he speculated as to what would be the fall-out for an escort if one of her clients was murdered.
He is married with two grown-up sons and two grandchildren. His other hobbies are watercolour painting (www.comanwatercolours.com), cookery, cinema and classical music, as well as, of course, reading widely.
