Sheila McClure was a news and entertainment producer/cameraman for over a decade before turning to fiction. She also worked for MTV, numerous theatres, picked grapes, and, in order to buy her university textbooks, was a telephone chatline monitor in the 1990s. After years of dreaming about becoming a writer, she finally achieved her goal. She has written nearly forty books which have collectively sold over a million copies including award winning romance written as Annie O’Neil and women’s fiction writing as Daisy Tate. She is passionate about fruit pie, dill pickles, dogs and books.
Other Awards
I have won a Romantic Novelists’ Award and a second place ribbon for my blackberry pie at the Kitsap County fair. One day I would love to add a CWA Award to my accolades.
